Google to Offer Better Search Options at No Extra Cost

Customers can now choose enhanced indexing of their sites by the Google search tool and upload industry-specific synonyms, so that results can be returned when users type a related word or phrase. You can choose to have results based on date and on type of items that you want to see. The results will be returned at the top of the search results.

Seeking to further build on its hosted search and cloud computing efforts, Google is launching an updated version of its hosted business site search solution, which will also be renamed. This updated version of Google Search Engine is meant to give its users more control over the extraction of information from the domain and have greater control over the results, which will eventually be returned to them.

The fact that Google now offers Web site owners customization at no additional cost means they are going to be a formidable competitor to specialist, which offered customization as a differentiator, but charged more than what the leading search engine did previously.
